Cornish Pirates Rugby Club, The Mennaye, Penzance, TR18 4LY
Do we have everything in place to be resilient in the face of future storms with a super El Nino forecast? Following the battering caused by Storm Goretti in January and the widespread power outages caused by recent Storm Austen, we’re hosting a Storm Resilience Summit (as above) to inform, plan and prepare.
Representatives from COBRA (Cabinet Office Briefing Rooms - the Government’s central crisis management committee) will attend to listen and offer a government perspective.
The public engagement session will be an opportunity for community leaders, parish and town council reps and members of the public to provide feedback on their experiences, the challenges they faced due to recent storms, and to raise relevant casework directly with authorities and service providers.
If you have any questions, please get in contact. Adam Gunderson, Kevan Cook and Heidi Bodilly are handling the administration from my office.
Kind regards,
